Talha Jilani

Mr. Talha Jilani joined The Cohen Group in June 2023. He supports clients in the defense, healthcare, cybersecurity compliance, microelectronics, and satellite communications industries with regulatory risk assessment, federal funding assistance, and business development. Mr. Jilani is a member of The Cohen Group’s Semiconductor and Defense practices.
In the summer of 2022, Mr. Jilani interned at The Cohen Group where he conducted research and analysis for clients on matters of strategic planning and tracked geopolitical developments in priority markets. Previously, he worked at a boutique public affairs and crisis communications agency in Washington, DC, providing reputational and media relations counsel to clients spanning the technology, urban mobility, and lifestyle sectors. Mr. Jilani also interned at a think tank for international law in Islamabad, Pakistan where he contributed to publications on counter terrorism and global governance.
Mr. Jilani has a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, with concentrations in Technology Policy and International Business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in French from Pitzer College. Originally from Islamabad, Pakistan, Mr. Jilani has lived in India, Australia, Belgium, France, and the United States. He is proficient in French and fluent in Urdu.
