Director of People Operations

Ms. Caroline Megerian is the Director of People Operations at The Cohen Group. In this role, she directly supports the Chief People Officer across several functions, including recruiting and hiring, performance evaluation, and growth and professional development. She also supports the leadership team and several Senior Counselors through project management, research, and administrative functions. She is a member of the firm’s Women in National Security event team, which brings together women of all stages in national security and international affairs for quarterly policy and career development discussions. She was previously a Special Assistant at the firm.

Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Megerian has been a contributor to Rerooted Archive, the paramount documentation project for the Armenian community of Syria. She co-authored a submission to the Commission of Inquiry at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and conducted research on human rights violations and cultural heritage destruction in Syria. Ms. Megerian also interned with business law firm Thompson Hine and immigration law firm Davidson & Seseri. In these roles, she authored affidavits, petition materials, and country condition reports for various employment-based immigration and asylum cases.

Ms. Megerian graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a double major in Global Health and a minor in Legal Studies. She concentrated her coursework on Middle East and North African studies and conflict studies. Ms. Megerian was selected for the 2024–25 Accelerator Series at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and she is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Young Professional Briefing Series. In her free time, Ms. Megerian continues her language study in Armenian and French.
