Caroline Megerian
Director of People Operations
Ms. Caroline Megerian is the Director of People Operations at The Cohen Group. In this role, she directly supports the Chief People Officer across several functions, including recruiting and hiring, performance evaluation, and growth and professional development. She provides logistical and event support to The Cohen Group’s Senior Counselors and coordinates the internal processes for policy events held by the firm. She is also a member of the firm's Women in National Security Series planning team, which brings together women of all stages in national security and international affairs for quarterly events, networking, and mentorship opportunities. She was previously a Special Assistant at the firm, supporting four Senior Counselors and the firm’s leadership team.
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Megerian has been a contributor to Rerooted Archive, the paramount documentation project for the Armenian community of Syria. She co-authored a submission to the Commission of Inquiry at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and conducted research on human rights violations and cultural heritage destruction in Syria. Ms. Megerian has also interned at a business law firm and a boutique immigration law firm. In these roles, she authored affidavits, petition materials, and country condition reports for various employment-based immigration and asylum cases.
Ms. Megerian graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, completing an adjunct major in Global Health and a minor in Legal Studies. She concentrated her coursework on Middle East and North African studies and conflict studies. Ms. Megerian is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Young Professional Briefing Series. She is from Cleveland, Ohio.
