Mr. Brian Gray joined The Cohen Group in May 2024. He supports clients in the emerging technology, finance, and defense sectors with geopolitical and regulatory risk assessments, market entry, business development, and government affairs. Mr. Gray is a member of The Cohen Group's China practice, and he has also supported clients in the Australia and Southeast Asia markets.
Before joining The Cohen Group, Mr. Gray interned with the China practice at Albright Stonebridge Group. He previously held internship positions with the Indo-Pacific Program at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, BowerGroupAsia, the Center for Defense Concepts and Technology at the Hudson Institute, the Office of Chinese and Mongolian Affairs at the US Department of State, the Corporate Partnerships team at Save the Children US, and the Office of Congressman Jim Himes.
Mr. Gray received a Master of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a Graduate Certificate in Chinese and American Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University. He is proficient in Mandarin.
