Tanya Sood

Ms. Tanya Sood is a Fellow at The Cohen Group based in the India Branch Office. She supports clients in the healthcare, energy and resources, and consumer goods sectors with regulatory and policy analysis, business development, and geopolitical risk assessment. As a member of The Cohen Group's India Practice, Ms. Sood advises clients on navigating India's business and policy landscape.
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Sood completed the Young India Fellowship, a multidisciplinary program at Ashoka University. During her time at Ashoka, she worked with the Economic Policy Research Institute, conducting research on policy regulation and developing a Community of Practice model for industry and government stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Sood interned with the National Human Rights Commission of India and Raisina House, a foreign policy think tank based in New Delhi. Her research on India's policy landscape and its intersection with technology, human rights, and regional diplomacy has been presented at the Hume Institute for Postgraduate Studies and the African Studies Association of India. Additionally, Ms. Sood shadowed an official from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, staffing bilateral meetings on sports diplomacy, including industry engagement and women's leadership in cricket.
Ms. Sood received her bachelor's degree in political science from Miranda House at the University of Delhi and her master's degree in the same field from the University of Delhi. Ms. Sood is from Ambala, India.
