Ms. Sara Saba joined The Cohen Group in September 2026. She supports clients in the energy, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality industries, and is a member of the firm’s China practice.
 
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Saba earned a Master of Law in China Studies with a focus on Politics and International Relations at the Yenching Academy of Peking University in Beijing, China. She wrote her master’s thesis on China’s economic statecraft and strategic engagement in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s critical mineral sector. 
 
Earlier in her career, Ms. Saba spent two years as an analyst at a London-based boutique firm focused on resource, conflict, and security analysis. Ms. Saba holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from King’s College London.
 
She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and Arabic.
