Ms. Sydney Taylor joined The Cohen Group in April 2026. She supports clients across the healthcare, sustainability, energy, and legal sectors with geopolitical risk analysis, market entry strategy, and business development. As a member of The Cohen Group's Middle East practice, Ms. Taylor advises clients on navigating business and policy landscapes across the region.
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Ms. Taylor was a Senior Programming Associate at Dialog, an invite-only community for global leaders to gather for off-the-record, moderated conversations.
In May 2025, Ms. Taylor received her master’s degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. While at Princeton, she served as a research assistant for Ambassador (Ret.) Daniel Kurtzer, interned at the Middle East Institute, conducted research on Chinese and Russian military influence in Oman and the UAE for the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Studies Office, and led a semester-long policy workshop course studying U.S.-Saudi relations.
Prior to graduate school, Ms. Taylor was part of the first Fulbright English Teaching Assistant cohort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she taught English and Communications at Prince Sultan University. Previously, Ms. Taylor spent three years as a high school English teacher in Cleveland public schools with Teach for America.
Ms. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Security & Intelligence and Middle East Studies with minors in Arabic and Leadership Studies from The Ohio State University.
