
Milo Richards

Mr. Milo Richards is a Fellow at The Cohen Group. He supports clients in the defense, technology, and manufacturing sectors with geopolitical and regulatory assessment, federal funding assistance, and business development. Mr. Richards is a member of The Cohen Group's Defense practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Richards worked as a Legislative Correspondent in the Office of Senator John Hickenlooper where he covered defense, foreign policy, and national security issues. In this role, he provided verbal and written briefings to the Senator on pending legislation, international developments, and other key issues of concern to US policymakers. He regularly engaged with defense and aerospace companies on their technical and funding priorities to inform the annual appropriations and National Defense Authorization Act processes.
Mr. Richards was a Congressional Fellow at the Wilson Center in 2022. Earlier in his career, he served as an Intern in the State Department’s Bureau of Legislative Affairs and as a Legislative Intern for Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke.
Mr. Richards received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College and a General Course degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is originally from Brooklyn, New York.
