Ben Bograd

Mr. Ben Bograd joined The Cohen Group in January 2025 after completing his master’s degree in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing as a Schwarzman Scholar. His capstone thesis examining China’s national AI development and regulation strategy won the college’s Most Outstanding Capstone award. As a member of The Cohen Group’s China practice, Mr. Bograd supports clients across multiple industries.
Mr. Bograd graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics while also minoring in History and the Practice of Diplomacy. He co-captained the men’s soccer team and served as a campus tour guide.
Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Mr. Bograd served as the Hotline Manager for the Harris campaign’s Georgia Voter Protection Team. He also worked as a research assistant for Princeton Professor Rory Truex, studying the House Select Committee on the CCP’s impact on American foreign policy attitudes towards China. While at Princeton, Mr. Bograd interned for Congressman Tom Malinowski, the San Francisco District Attorney’s office, and New Deal Strategies, a political communications firm.
Mr. Bograd grew up in New Jersey and loves reading, cheering for the Houston Rockets, and cooking mapo tofu. He is proficient in Mandarin.
