Mr. Gokul S. Vijay joined The Cohen Group after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) in Economics from Ashoka University. During his studies, Mr. Vijay focused his economics degree on International Relations.

Previously, Mr. Vijay interned with the office of Member of Parliament Baijayant Panda, National Vice President of the Bhartiya Janata Party. During that time Mr. Vijay worked on policy issues relating to data protection and privacy, external affairs, judicial reforms, and taxation. Mr. Vijay has also interned with the State Government of Haryana where he supported the Chief Minister's Office with education policy formulation and implementation in rural communities.

A native of India, Mr. Vijay has lived in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil and conversational in Arabic.
