Mr. Walid Haddad joined The Cohen Group in May of 2022 as a Middle East Fellow. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Haddad was based in Dubai working at Kyriba, a global fintech company that helps Fortune 1000s and banks digitize their treasury, risk, and supply chain finance processes.

While working in fintech, Mr. Haddad helped jumpstart Kyriba’s operations in the Middle East and Africa by providing business development support to sales and marketing teams. As part of his support, Mr. Haddad led market and company research and monitored cloud and banking regulations across countries to ensure compliance and favorability for Kyriba.

Following his time at Kyriba Dubai, Mr. Haddad transferred to the San Diego office to expand the company’s Manufacturing and Real Estate portfolios. Mr. Haddad’s prior experience in the Middle East supported multinationals in anticipating and understanding challenges that arise when expanding into new markets.

Mr. Haddad graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelors in Business Administration specializing in Finance.
