Mr. Marco Orsimarsi is a Research Associate at The Cohen Group, where he supports clients in the energy and resources, sustainability, emerging technology, and defense sectors with geopolitical risk assessment, market opportunity analysis, business development, and public policy research and monitoring. Mr. Orsimarsi is a member of The Cohen Group’s Latin America and Critical Minerals practices. He is also a member of the firm’s Defense Practice, where he oversees coordination for its internal Navy and Marine Corps portfolios.

Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Mr. Orsimarsi interned with the Americas practice at Albright Stonebridge Group, and with the Public Policy, Risk & Strategy practice at Cefeidas Group, a strategic advisory firm based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Previously, Mr. Orsimarsi served as a Fulbright teaching assistant in northern Spain, and as a Language and Culture Assistant for the Regional Government of Galicia.

Mr. Orsimarsi holds a Master of Arts in International Relations, with focus on International Economics and Latin American Studies, from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, Phi Beta Kappa, from Loyola University Maryland. He is proficient in Spanish.
