Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Shelby Stone was an English Teaching Assistant in Reims, France where she supported English professors in teaching vocabulary and grammar in two French vocational high schools. Previously, Ms. Stone was a French Research Assistant at The College of Wooster and an intern with the French National Police in Strasbourg.
Ms. Stone is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Security Studies at the Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She is concentrating her studies on US national security and nuclear weapon nonproliferation.
Ms. Stone graduated magna cum laude from The College of Wooster with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a minor in French, and she was also a member of the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. Upon graduation, Ms. Stone was awarded the Dan F. Lockhart Outstanding Senior Award for her academic, athletic, and leadership achievements, as well as the Magnes Prize, which is awarded to the top female athlete in the class. Ms. Stone also studied at the University of Syracuse in Strasbourg, France and the Centre De Linguistique Appliquée in Besançon, France.
