Prior to joining The Cohen Group, Zeina Boustani completed her Masters degree in International Economics and Conflict Management at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Previously, Ms. Boustani interned for the Beirut office of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she engaged in research on citizenship education in the Middle East, both prior to and in response to the Arab Uprisings.
During her studies, Ms. Boustani also interned at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) for the Program on Crisis, Conflict, and Cooperation. At CSIS, she supported resident and visiting scholars researching and writing reports focused specifically on identity politics and sectarianism in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Ms. Boustani graduated magna cum laude from American University with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. She also studied at John Cabot University in Rome and the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She is fluent in French and Arabic and is conversational in Italian.
