Henry Murry is an Associate at The Cohen Group. Since joining the firm in 2015, Mr. Murry has advised clients on global expansion, joint ventures, M&A, and government relations strategies. He also serves as aide to the Chairman and CEO, Secretary William Cohen.
Previously, Mr. Murry worked in the office of Representative Adrian Smith (R-NE), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee. In that office, Mr. Murry worked on international trade, defense, tax policy, and other issues.
Mr. Murry holds an M.A. in Security Studies from the Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University. There, he concentrated on the business of national defense, cybersecurity, and U.S. foreign relations. Mr. Murry received his B.A. in Arabic Language Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Mr. Murry completed an intensive program at the Arabic Language Institute in Cairo. In addition, he lived and studied in Damascus, Syria, attending Damascus University's Higher Language Institute. He has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and is proficient in Arabic.
