Janine Henderson

Before joining The Cohen Group, Janine worked for the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of Nuclear Energy. At DOE, Janine was the Executive Administrative Officer for the Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy. She was responsible for coordinating with senior-level political appointees in the Department of Energy, the White House, and Cabinet-level officials and their staffs, and for developing materials for internal and external meetings and engagements. Janine was also a focal point for interactions outside the executive branch, including Congress, academia, and the nuclear industry, by responding to requests for meetings and information.

Prior to DOE, Janine worked as a Governance Specialist at United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC), Inc., a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants, where she supported ongoing corporate governance activities. Also at USEC, Janine was the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO where she functioned as the primary point of contact with the Chairman of the Board and worked closely with the company’s Board of Directors and General Counsel’s office to coordinate Board meetings.

Janine has also volunteered at the White House Correspondence office where she assisted with responses to Presidential Correspondence.

Janine is a native of Washington, DC, and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania.
